The steps to create your own course

Reader a few months ago I was going through my numbers for my business and I realized that my course sales made up 40% of all my income.

Here's how it panned out:

  • Courses - 40%
  • Membership - 25%
  • Classes - 4%
  • Bundles - 3%
  • Coaching - 28%

Looking at your numbers like this makes it easy to see what's working and what's not.

Obviously classes and bundles are not getting my attention lately, because at 7% of my income they're not worth my time.

Then my membership and coaching are holding their own.

However courses are coming out on top.

What's so cool about that is they are the offer that is the most scalable for the least amount of ongoing work!

Once a course is made and it's great you can sell it to thousands of people. It's a very attractive and scalable offer!

If courses feel like a bit of a mystery to you here is where I demystify every piece, every step. In this email I'll share the steps and in my upcoming course I lay out everything you need to make it happen and answer all the questions you have about courses.

Here are the steps to creating your course:

  • Step 1: Discover Your Perfect Course Idea: Find a profitable topic that aligns with your passions and expertise.
  • Step 2: Craft a Winning Course Title: Create a compelling name that resonates with your target audience and drives sales.
  • Step 3: Outline and Develop Your Course Content: Structure your course for maximum impact, ensuring your students achieve their desired outcomes.
  • Step 4: Set the Perfect Price: Learn pricing strategies that reflect your course’s value and maximize your revenue.
  • Step 5: Create Engaging Course Videos: Master the art of video : production, whether you’re using slides, talking head, or a hybrid approach.
  • Step 6: Host and Deliver Your Course: Choose the right platform to host your course and deliver an exceptional student experience.
  • Step 7: Build a High-Converting Sales Page: Write persuasive copy and design eye-catching visuals that turn visitors into buyers.
  • Step 8: Launch and Market Your Course: Develop a launch strategy that builds buzz and drives sales, from pre-launch to post-launch.
  • Step 9: Scale Your Course Business: Discover how to add upsells, cross-sells, and additional courses to grow your income and impact.

I'm so excited to deliver this comprehensive course to you.

By the end of this course, you’ll have everything you need to confidently create and launch your own online course.

A few people have been asking me lately how my side hustle as a Disney specializing Travel Agent is going. So I thought it's time for an update and a huge special offer for booking with me! In July I went to an in-person event where I talked to families about Disney trips. This was great and I made some contacts. In August I spent most of my time keeping my daughter busy with summer activities so I didn't focus much on the Disney business. We did book our next trip to Walt Disney World for...

Over the years, I’ve worked with many people in the online business world. The people who make progress in their business are the people who make NO EXCUSES - no exceptions. Excuses sound like: "I'm no good with technology." "I don't have time." "I got so frustrated I did nothing." "I don't know what to do." If you’re nodding your head right now, it might not be fun to read this, especially if you find yourself making these excuses often. But here’s the hard truth: it’s easier to blame...

Are you an introvert or an extrovert? Hit reply I'd love to know. I think it's worth taking the time to consider, especially in relation to business. So much of what is taught about business is extrovert-based: Speaking on stage or in webinars Building and working with a team Doing regular photoshoots to add to the website, social, emails, etc Getting on video I mean really there's a big long list of things you're told you should do as an entrepreneur that are pretty darn "extrovert leaning"....
